Sylvia Gaiser-Bertram has successfully defended her dissertation on organizational agility and agile teamwork at the University of Tübingen. Her work was co-supervised by Professor Helene Tenzer.
Which process competencies enable true organizational agility? How does an incomplete agile transformation affect organizational effectiveness? How should directive and empowering leadership alternate in agile teams — and how do agile methods influence employees’ job satisfaction?
In her dissertation titled “Organizational Agility and Agile Teamwork: Evidence from Industry Data,” Sylvia Gaiser-Bertram examined agility at the organizational, team, and individual levels. Co-supervised by Prof. Dr. Philip Yang (University of Paderborn) and Prof. Dr. Helene Tenzer (LMU Munich), she developed four academic papers combining conceptual, qualitative, and quantitative approaches. On October 24, she successfully defended her dissertation.
Congratulations to Dr. Gaiser-Bertram on this achievement!
